Accommodation Overlooking The Nile
Situated on the banks of the Victoria Nile, just downstream of its source, overlooking this the longest river in the world, the Nile Porch offers a unique experience in comfortably appointed cabin en suite accommodation.
Cabins
Ideally positioned individual units have been designed to optimize privacy and allow uninterrupted panoramic views of the river and its surroundings. Take a shower with a view or enjoy a sundowner on your own private porch and witness the spectacular sunsets over the magnificent Nile River.
Unwind and relax next to our crystal blue swimming pool and enjoy the abundance of native fauna and flora and look forward to a sumptuous meal at the Black Lantern restaurant before retiring to a peaceful night sleep as the Nile meanders by on it’s journey to the Mediterranean Sea.
Each has a double and a single bed. Eight units are available.
* Please note that the Cabins can be booked as a Single Occupancy, Double Occupancy or Triple Occupancy configuration. When booking Triple Occupancy, it is a double and single bed.
Family Units
Whilst maintaining the style of our comfortable semi tented accommodation, our two bedroom shared bathroom Family Units are perfect for family getaways, with a master bedroom and kids bedroom, lounge and porch area there is plenty of space for all.
Overlooking the swimming pool, parents can relax on the porch while keeping an eye on the kids.
The master bedroom has one double bed and the kids’ room has three single bunk style beds.

we LOVE coming to The Nile Porch!
The staff is great, the rooms are wonderful, the food is delicious , the atmosphere is serene, and the kids (and me and my husband!) always thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here and feel refreshed! If you are within driving distance, come stay here! You’ll be glad you did. *oh! Please take the boat ride, it’s such a fun experience to go in a large canoe style on the Nile River. Lots of birds and river otters too!
A perfect blend between comfort and camping out enjoying nature.
The scenery is beautiful all round. There’s several activities; a swimming pool, camp site, quad biking, nature walks, and a special 2 hour sunset boat ride on the Nile, and more. Highly recommend. The restaurant (The Black Lantern) is exceptionally amazing with each dish blowing your taste buds away.
